FAQs
Answers to the questions I get asked most often.
That's absolutely fine. Most clients start from scratch or are returning after a long break. I meet you at your current level and build from there, at a pace that suits you. There's no expectation to be fit before you start.
Life happens. Missing a session isn't failure. It's normal. Your plan is built around reality, not perfection. We work around your schedule and adjust when things come up. Consistency over weeks and months matters far more than any single missed session.
No. I don't believe in cutting out food groups. You'll get calorie and protein targets that give you flexibility to eat the foods you enjoy. No lists of banned foods, no meal plans, no restriction-based thinking.
No. Building significant muscle mass requires years of dedicated effort and specific conditions. It doesn't happen by accident. Strength training will help you look toned and athletic, feel stronger, and boost your metabolism. It's one of the best things you can do for your body.
This is one of the most common things I hear. Your training plan comes with video demonstrations for every single exercise, so you'll walk into the gym knowing exactly what to do, how to do it, and what weight to use. Confidence comes with repetition, and I'll help you get there.
No copy-paste plans. Every programme is built specifically around you: your life, your schedule, your goals, your equipment. I actually care about how you're getting on, not just sending a plan and disappearing. You'll have ongoing support, real check-ins, and a coach who's in your corner.
Real, sustainable results. Fat loss, increased strength, better energy, and a healthier relationship with food and your body. The timeline varies depending on consistency and starting point, but clients who commit to the process see meaningful changes within the first few weeks. Long-term results come from long-term habits.
Not at all. Fat loss is often a natural outcome of building strength and eating well, but the goal is much bigger than that. It's about building confidence, strength, sustainable habits, and actually feeling good in your body. Many clients say the mental shift is just as significant as the physical one.
I'm a qualified personal trainer with ongoing education in strength and conditioning and nutrition coaching. I believe in continuously learning and staying up to date with evidence-based practice, because the fitness industry is full of outdated advice and I want to give you what actually works.
